‘Mainty Joller’ is a phrase that I uttered from the depths of a dream or on instinct which turned out to have actual arcane meaning: namely a person of disrepute intent on engaging in lascivious behaviour.
This was my attempt at a collection of classical pieces; quartets, piano, ensembles. Some of the best work and some oddities.
I was thrilled to be able to create the covers for Jeff Noons full range of novels and wanted to show them off effectively. There was also many other projects that I found myself lucky enough to complete and all together here it seems like quite a cool body of work.
Composed for the Holocaust Memorial Day as an orchestral work for various forms of ensemble.
Philip Thompson is aiming to create sound-scapes & music from his experiences & exploration during 2013. He has invited a number of people to join in (remix, mix, contribute sounds), and I am amongst them. He is providing a set of sounds a month with an open invitation to get involved and this has caught my mind for a number of reasons.
I am about to go forward into a long gaming series on the Xbox360, with the full Modern Warfare set.
The new business cards have arrived. Moo.com were doing a great deal on mini cards, as in free. So I took advantage of both the order of 100 mini moo cards and their feature of having any number of images as the main design. The full set are above and there are four sets in the box.

The primary image that will occupy the screen is of a old man’s face, gradually erupting into a full smile, slowed down over three minutes.
I do not consider myself to be a depressive personality, but I know that I share a lot of traits of that mind-set; solitary, analytical, verbose, obsessive, neurotic and anti-social. There are elements that will ring true here for everyone but I find that within these descriptors there is a core representation that I seem to have pinned myself to.
This project, essentially, is an entertaining and artistic environment using many different media. It takes the form of a multi media CD-ROM containing interactive software that creates a non-linear narrative experience with the story depth of a novel; something that can stand alone as an entertaining story yet remains rich with symbolism and metaphor.
Whilst the programming of the main sections was being completed and corrected, my focus was in the realm of the story structure and user navigation.
The Memecom Gateway is mimicking a computer desktop, yet even when viewing the source code for this simulation operating system the overall story is still represented.
I began to organise a story to act as a background for the narrative experience of the Memecom Gateway.

I have worked for a large IT company for a number of years and in the course of designing for the Marketing Division I came across a great deal of information concerning e-commerce, viral marketing, information collection and computer security.
