A Walkthrough Guide
The Introduction - The initial screens and agreements
Load the Memecom Gateway by double clicking the 'Memecom-Gateway-Launch.exe'.
Click anywhere on screen to continue from the first dialogue
box.
Read the End User Licence Agreement and click 'I Accept' to
begin.
Chapter One - The crash and the boot up sequence
The PC crashes and begins to reboot.
Notice the use of Memecode to encrypt messages and ideas in
this section.
Press DELETE at the prompt
Examine the system set up screens
Select 'Exit Without Saving'
Allow the machine to reboot
During the reboot process press 'F8' at the prompt.
Examine the options, select any one to return to the reboot
sequence.
Chapter Two - The desktop of the Memecom Gateway
Allow the desktop to load
The top right icon allows access to the Marked Files area, click
to open
Double click on the icons to read the text documents and reference
the web pages
Click on the background desktop to close the recent documents
folder
The lower right icon displays the time and allows access to
Neuromedia Player, click to open
Listen to a sample of music left on the system
Close the Neuromedia Player
The top left icon allows access to the Directory Explorer, click
to open
Use the Directory Explorer to examine the system and architectural
structure of the entire computer
Find your way to SELF / EXPR
Select 'memecom.txt'
Read and close
Close the Directory Explorer
The lower left icon allows access to the main navigation menu
Open the main navigation and select Programs
Select Bookmark to open the Universal Resource Locator and view
a selection of stored web links
Close the Universal Resource Locator
Select Wallpaper to open the Image Viewer
Choose from the images to select a new background for the desktop
Click Set As Wallpaper
Close the Image Viewer
Click on the F to open the Files menu
Select Mail Viewer to open the program
Read the stored email messages
Close the Mail Viewer
Click on the D to open the Documents menu
Read the papers 'Meme Virus' and 'Security'
Click on the S to open the System menu
Select Memecode to open the Memecode Translator
Examine the source code for the Memecom Gateway Operating System
Close the Memecode Translator
Chapter Three - Randos System is used to connect to other ID
addresses
Make sure the main navigation is open and in the System menu
Select Randos System to open the Randos Terminal
Type 'cmdls' and click ENTER to see the available commands
Type 'cd /flux/deja' to navigate to the Deja folder, within
the Flux folder
Type 'cat sysmessage.sys' to be able to read this secure file
Type 'cd /flux/deja/'
Type 'cat logfile1.log' to be able to read this secure file
Make a mental note of the ID details listed as 'connect from'
Type 'call(open.port)activate' to initiate an open connection
to another computer
Type 'ls port' to list the available ID addresses
Now type one of the ID addresses, begin with the fourth one
down
Converse with the party on the other end of the connection
Finish with the term “exit”
Chapter Four - ID:Rapist answers connection and downloads new
material
Remain in the Randos Terminal
Click on 'call(open.port)activate' in the Log lists to initiate
an open connection to another computer
Type 'ls port' to list the available ID addresses
Now type the ID addresses found in logfile1.log
Wait whilst the Memecom Gateway is hacked by the ID:Rapist
Chapter Five - The new desktop of the Memecom Gateway
Re-examine the folders to find new material and files
Find and read the History of the ID System in SELF / EXPR
Find and read the transcript-02/07/2020-0200-013 in STEM / SLEEP
Chapter Six - The Ghost Olafsson Interface reveals certain
facts
Use the Directory Explorer to examine the system and architectural
structure of the entire computer
Find your way to BIO / MEME
Select the Ghost Olafsson program “Ghost-Olafsson.xex”
Wait while the Ghost Olafsson goes about its task
Pay close attention to the text and note the password used
Close the Ghost Olafsson
Chapter Seven - The password to the Memecom Login is discovered
Use the Directory Explorer to examine the system and architectural
structure of the entire computer
Find your way to BIO / MEME
Select the Memecom Login program 'MemeCom-Login.xex'
Wait while the screen loads and enter a password at the prompt
Use the highlighted navigation panel on the left to descend
one circle at a time
Note the text of each screen encountered
At the final circle a password prompt appears
Try to guess based on the information in the descent so far
Then try the name of the light bringer (*******)
Wait
Chapter Eight - The password to the Memecom Dataset Configuration
is discovered
Wait while the screen loads
When three patterns appear the fourth one must be concluded
based on the sequence
Click on the square beneath 'User Authority Configuration' to
solve stage 1
Continue with stage 2
Ignore the countdown and continue with stage 3
Ignore the countdown and continue with stage 4
Click YES to overwrite all biometric ID information
Chapter Nine - The trials are passed and the final process
is set in motion.
